Survivor-defined research priorities

Survivors of violence and abuse bring essential insight into the questions that matter most for improving support, recovery and long-term wellbeing. Their experiences highlight gaps in current knowledge and point to areas where research could make the greatest difference.

This page brings together research priorities identified through survivor engagement work, alongside relevant publications and resources from across the sector. These materials highlight areas where further research, policy development and service innovation are needed.

The priorities and resources shared here are intended to support researchers, practitioners, funders and policymakers working to strengthen responses to violence, abuse and mental health
