Speaker information ​
Dr Rachel Maciag is a Clinical Psychologist working in Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust. She currently works in a specialist Children in Care/Edge of Care Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS), where she works with vulnerable children/adolescents and their families. Rachel has worked in the NHS for nearly 10 years within a wide range of services including adult community mental health services, psychiatric inpatient and specialist services. Prior to working in the NHS, she worked within the forensic sector, for charities working to reduce reoffending. Rachel has an interest and passion for improving the mental health support for victim-survivors of domestic abuse. She works closely with the Domestic Abuse Safeguarding Lead in Oxleas NHS, and has been involved in a variety of projects in this area. She has personal experience in this area and is an advocator for change.
